From Marketing to Information Technology
The Switch
My career pivot from marketing to information technology has been one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve made—yet I’ve found my marketing roots remain invaluable. While I thrived analyzing consumer behavior (like identifying regional sales declines for “The Bike Shop” and recommending targeted inventory adjustments), I became captivated by how technology transforms raw data into actionable insights. This sparked my passion for building the systems behind the strategies.
Today, I bridge both worlds:
- Technical Execution: Leveraging cloud computing, data analytics, and AI to architect scalable solutions.
- Strategic Impact: Applying my marketing analysis background to ensure technology delivers measurable business value—like my “Bike Shop” project, where I paired geospatial sales data with demographic trends to reverse a 22% revenue dip in our underperforming market.

The Cheesecake Factory
IT Deployment Technician
- Imagined, configured, deployed, and validated software for 230+ restaurant locations, reducing deployment time by 50%, and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Created detailed documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel for communicating processes, and building guidelines.
- Analyze kitchen and electrical blueprints for The Cheesecake Factory and North Italia sites to mark up POS and computer placements and create IT rack data layouts.
- Help manage project financials, including budgets, CAPEX, invoices, and actuals.
